Benithem ® chairs are designed for who?
The office is a place where many of us find ourselves very reluctant to go to. Often having to drag ourselves to go through the mundane day at the office. A day full of work, meetings and discussions.
With Covid-19 wreaking havoc on the regular office schedule and ‘work from home’ (WFH) is the new norm, more people are working from home. However, most people’s homes are not suitable for long working hours, especially when it comes to their chairs.
Some people make do with working on their dining table but dining chairs are not meant to be sat in for long hours as it does not provide adequate support for your back, posture, lumbar or neck. Some make do with working on their coffee table sitting on their sofa or even worse, the floor! There is no proper support and you will feel tired and lethargic after a few hours. Imagine the long term damage to your body by subjecting it to such ‘torture’.
This is where our Benithem® chairs can come to the rescue – our chairs are specially designed for Asian physiques as we have compiled a large database of various body measurements and have created various seating designs that provide adequate support and comfort for longer hours.
You may have heard of the term ‘ergonomic’ chairs, but what exactly does it mean? Why not just call it a comfortable or cozy chair instead? An ergonomic chair does more than just provide comfort because it serves to maximise your productivity and efficiency as well.
A good ergonomic chair is one which should fit you perfectly and assists you in achieving the perfect sitting posture, which generally consists of:
- Both arms being parallel to the floor
- Both feet being flat on the floor, with your legs ideally bent at a 90-degree angle
- Your neck being in a relaxed and neutral position
- Your eyes being level with the top of the monitor, an arm’s length away from the computer screen
- A straight back
